Budgeting

Me: "Hey, this says Spitzer may have spent up to $80,000 on prostitutes."

Him: "You're kidding?"

Me: "That's a really impressive whore budget."

Him: "Wow."

Me: "Hey, this has never really come up, but I just wanted to tell you, so we're clear: you have a whore budget of zero dollars."

Him: "OK. Thanks"

Me: "Don't spend it all in one place."

Hey, I was JUST thinking about you. Good thoughts sent your way. Yes, my DH read that 1 in 6 men have visited prostitutes. Wha? We also have $0 allocated for that line item.

I've heard of his and hers accounts, but not his and whores. Definitely need to revise our budget - downward. ; )

LOVE your blog.

Spitzer's wife should have told her husband the same thing a long time ago!

Sheesh, what is the going rate for a prostitute these days? I might be in the wrong business...

Missed you :-)

"Whore budget of $0"

I don't think Stephanie has ever explicitly stated what my budget is, but I believe it is pretty close to $0. It might even be less than that.

I know your time has been occupied lately but I have missed your regular blog. Welcome back.

stu: A negative dollar whore budget is actually a solid idea. Just to emphasize the point.

And to all: I've missed you. Thanks for still reading.

Yes very glad you are back.

I am with the negative $ whore budget myself. And the rusty scissors threat.

I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover but I did think that Spitzer feller has sleazy eyes.

Welcome back!

I know it is early in our relationship, but perhaps the SO and I should have that discussion soon. I guess it is never too early to talk about priorities for budgeting (and whores).

I've okayed a mid-life crisis sports car over the mid-life crisis affair.

I'll make sure we're clear on the whole ho thing though.

Glad you are back. Been checking the updates and keeping fingers crossed.

Yeah! We were JUST talking about that shocking amount of whore money in the car! Spitzer obviously has too much cash. ($0 firm whore budget in this house, too)

P.S. So glad you're back!

Just so you know, my whore budget used to be $1000. But that really cut down on my craft supplies budget, so I reppropriated funds.

That conversation wouldn't help me. The BH is a chick MAGNET. Gay guys, too. I have to beat them off with a stick. But... it does get my frustrations out.

I am still waiting for progeny of his many many many many many army-days hookups to show up on the doorstep. I've got a log of cookie dough in the freezer-- just in case. He's just enough older than I that any sons would now be legal, though, so I can always get him back. ; )

richgold said...

That amount is just inconceivable ... though, being at the receiving end ... oh stop me now. It's just another unpaid service that a wife provides ...

This post elicited snorts from both my and D's noses. Just so you know.
