Not Actually Breaking City Code

And despite appearances, they're not in violation of city code. Honest.

My folks used to live in a small Kansas town where a local bank had a fountain that came flat out of the pavement. They let the kids play in it all they wanted. It made me love that bank.

Dear Lawdy they are beautiful. Love their pudgey baby bellies.

I played in a fountain like that in Cincinnati when I was a kid. It was better than a pool, and tons of kids were always there. Instant friends!

And kids that cute are NEVER violating ordinances.

Those are the cutest pictures in the whole world.

If there was ever an occasion for green froggy boots, I think that would have been it. WHERE ARE THEY???

Melanie said...

Rima: The Bibbits are a total disaster in the fountain because the little guy takes on water over the tops of his boots. Then he traipses around, his feet swimming and squishing and making horrifying farting noises.

too beautiful for words.

My only concern is with potential DRINKING of the water. By the little fella. I will obsess about this for the rest of the day.

Your kids are so cute they make me want grandkids. There are no kids cute enough anymore to make we want more of my own kids!

I don't know which is your greater talent, creating beautiful children or photographing them.

These are some cutie-patootie shots you got there!!! Love little baby bodies before they decided to change to "kid" bodies!!
I wish I had pictures of Issei when he was 3 in the fountains at Olympic Park in Atlanta....the kid got a standing ovation!!!
I noticed though.....no other kids...what did you do, sneak 'em in under the fence?!?!?!

OK, even if they were breaking some kind of code. Um. Who would even have the heart to say so?

Oh, the chubby goodness! How SWEET.

Our city installed a fountain that had bronze statues of children playing in it... but actual, real children weren't allowed. WTF? So they finally installed a different type nearby that the kids could splash in. But that right there just about sums up Charlotte, the corporate parts, anyway. Image, not reality.

I love the pictures.

I LOVE the one of him trying to take a big bite out of the water. Funny how kids always try to eat everything, isn't it?

And, wow, I really love their shoes.
